Kettle Corn, Trail Mix Bar & Dinner

One of my former student's parents popped kettle corn for us.  It was delicious.  We put it in this miniature Hoosier cabinet my mom spent the summer refinishing.  We also had it out on the guest tables.

These next pictures show the food serving area.  My dad spent many hours getting this room ready for the reception.  He sawed all the boards at our sawmill to custom finish it.

We wrapped the silverware in napkins we stamped a peacock on and then tied it with a tag thanking our guests for sharing the meal with us.
I bought this antique igloo at a local estate sale.  Then we added the burlap bow and peacock feather to decorate the drink table.

This shows some of the wood work my dad did for the food serving area.  We also showcased some of the barns on our farm. The cow head is from one of my mom's prized brahmas.

At our trail mix bar we used random items from estate sales to hold our trail mix.
