Hello!

Hello!  I created this blog to show our DIY Wedding.  We had a lot of help from family and friends and could not have done it without their help.  My mom and I spent many hours making everything from the invitations, programs, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, bridesmaids gifts, decorations.  I think the only thing we didn't make was the food and my wedding dress!  We had our ceremony at the church my husband has attended since he was little.  Our reception was held at my families farm.  In our hay barn.  My dad and brother spent so much time getting the barn ready.  It was a lot of work but it was totally worth it.  I hope you enjoy seeing what we spent over a year working on!  I have a lot of pictures to add.  Creating this blog is a little more time consuming than I thought.  (Like most things)

Matt and I are country kids at heart!  I am an Agricultural Teacher and FFA Advisor at a local high school and Matt owns his own excavation business.  These are our toy pedal tractors from when we were kids.  Behind us is Matt's Dump truck that we left the ceremony in.  We keep it classy!!

On the left is my brother who helped my dad (far right) get the barn ready for the reception.  My mom is next to me.  She put so much time into helping get basically everything ready for the big day.
